Sportsplex To Host FREE Major League Baseball Players Alumni Clinic Sept. 28
A FREE Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic presented by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will be held at the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex on Saturday morning, September 28.
The clinic, designed for players aged 6-16, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run for three hours. Former Major League players will be teaching the fundamentals of the game to all clinic participants. Those attending are requested to arrive at the ballpark just after 8:30 and bring a bag with a bat, glove, water, and sneakers or cleats.
Legends for Youth is a charitable program running over 250 events a year nationwide, with the mission of promoting the game of baseball to America’s youth using positive sports images and personalities.
