Sportsplex Hosts MLBPA Clinic

The West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex hosted a free baseball clinic for ages 6-16 on Saturday, Sept. 28 that featured instruction by four former Major League Baseball players and three other coaching assistants, sponsored by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni organization.

Former Chicago White Sox pitcher Greg Hibbard, San Diego Padre catcher Mark Parent, Los Angeles Dodger outfielder Reggie Williams, and 1974 1st-round draft pick Tucker Ashford joined coaches Danny Gullett, Ronald Watson, and Brittany Ashford Williams in conducting the three-hour morning clinic for area youth.  The MLBPA‘s Chloe Hoeft coordinated the various stations for the participants.
