Sportsplex Travel Baseball Teams Rise By 6.3% in 2017
Registrations for USSSA travel baseball tournaments at the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex rose by 6.3% in the 2017 season despite a spring in which rain at some point plagued nearly every weekend in the mid-South area. We are extremely grateful to every team that chose to play at the Sportsplex, because we know you have several quality choices available among facilities in the Southeast. Forty (40) teams played in at least five of our weekend events during the fall and spring seasons. The totals quoted do not even include the teams that play in various leagues at the Sportsplex during the week, when we host Jackson Recreation & Parks Department play, Little League, adult softball and the Special Needs league.
